Gaighat Football Club, Udaipur has become the third team to enter the semi-finals of the first Khadak Vice Mayor Women's Gold Cup Knockout Football Tournament held here.

In the third quarter-final held on Wednesday, Gaighat defeated Manglung Sporting Club, Tehrathum in a tiebreaker and entered the last four. Before that, both the teams played a goalless draw.

In the tiebreaker, Gaighat won 5-3 and secured a place in the last four. Gaighat's goalkeeper Rupa Dhimal was declared the player of the match. The organizers informed that the fourth and final quarterfinal match on Thursday 5th January will be played between Royal Sporting Club, Jhapa and Rautahat Football Association, Rautahat.

The winner of the competition organized by Namo Buddha Youth Club, Saptari will receive a cash prize of Rs. The final match of the tournament in which a total of eight teams are participating will be held on the 9th of January.
