5th Makwanpur Gold Cup: Himalayan Sherpa Club Enters SFs

Himalayan Sherpa Club has entered semifinals of 5th Makwanpur gold cup football tournament.

Himalayan Sherpa sidelined Friends club 2-1 in the last quarterfinal match played at Piple stadium on Saturday.

Amrit Shrestha (3') and Biswas Shrestha (81') scored apiece for the winners. Anjan Maharjan (67') scored one for Friends.

HSC skipper Bishwas Shrestha became the player of the match and received NRs 10,000 cash.

APF FC will play against MMC in the first semifinal match on Sunday.

Makwanpur DFA is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 15 lakh.
