5th Makwanpur Gold Cup: MMC Enters SFs

Manang Marshayngdi Club (MMC) has entered semifinals of 5th Makwanpur gold cup football tournament in Hetauda, Makwanpur.

MMC defeated Regal Resort Makwanpur XI 2-1 in the quarterfinal match played on Friday.

Sumit Shrestha (11') and former Barcelona player Diagne scored (40') apiece for the winners. Sahid scored one for Makwanpur in 53rd minute.

Kamal Thapa became the player of the match and received NRs 10,000 cash.

Himalayan Sherpa club will play against Friends club on Saturday.

Makwanpur DFA is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 15 lakh.
