News Patihani FC To Conduct Coach Training

Patihani Football Club Chitwan has entered into an agreement with Gandaki University to conduct coach training. The club has entered into an agreement with Gandaki University for the training of sports coaches.

According to the agreement, training will be provided from Magh 18 to 21 to sports teachers and club members of schools within the district. Patihani Football Club President Postraj Timilsina and Bachelor in Sports Management Program Academy Coordinator Dr. Madhusudan Subedi signed the agreement on Thursday.

Patihani Football Club organized 'PFC Emerging Cup' with the participation of 32 community schools of the district in Mangsir with the slogan 'Education along with Sports'. Since its inception, this club has been doing various activities along with training for producing new players in football. According to President Timilsina, a total of 30 people will benefit from this training.

Gandaki University established by the state government has started the study and teaching of Bachelor's level Sports Management (BSM) for the first time in Nepal. Those who have passed class 12th in any subject or have passed diploma from CTEVT course conducted in Nepal can study BSM. It is expected that this subject, which will be studied and taught under 8 semesters of the 4-year course, will help strengthen the Nepali sports sector.
