Morang (GoalNepal) - APF Football Club, Kathmandu have entered the final of the fifth edition of the Belbari Buddha Air International Invitational Gold Cup Football Tournament. In the tournament's first semifinal on Monday, APF defeated hosts Dangihat Youth Club, Morang 2-1 to make their way into the final.
Top Bista and Nabin Lama scored a goal each in the second half of the match to put their team in the final.
Top Bista was adjudged the player of the match. He received Rs. 5,000 cash prize.
Rajarani FC, Rajarani and Salahesh Youth Club, Siraha will face each other in the second semifinal on Tuesday.
The winners of the tournament will receive a whopping eight lakh rupees while the runners-up will receive four lakh rupees. A total of ten teams, including three teams from abroad, are competing in the tournament.
The player of the tournament organized by Dangihat FC will receive Rs. 25,000 while the best defender, goalkeeper, midfielder, top scorer and rising player each will receive Rs. 15,000.
