Nepal coach Abdullah Almutairi has already made it clear that he is building the team for future. He has picked a very young squad for Iraq friendly and for FIFA World Cup qualifiers where they play against biggies, Australia, Jordan.
On Thursday, AA sent a clear message to the Nepalese football fans. He said he is trying to use new mentality and system and it may be difficult to start with.
"I read every comment (posted on GoalNepal) and I want to say thank you to everyone for your support. Also, please, I ask you all to be patience with our players and results. We will use new mentality, system and its implementation. It is going to be difficult at start. So just don't push on them for results now. We are here for a better tomorrow. If results don't go our way, put the blame on me not the players", said AA.
Nepal is playing against higher ranked Iraq on May 29 in Basrah. The team will move to Kuwait City to play FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifiers and AFC Asian Cup 2023 qualifiers.
