Kanchanjunga FC, Siliguri has entered quarterfinals of 5th Rajarshi Janak cup football tournament in Bagmati, Sarlahi.

Kanchanjunga FC defeated hosts Bagmati yuwa club 1-0 in pre-quarterfinal match played at Santosh Shrestha memorial grounds on Monday.

Anmol Dahal scored the match winning goal in 21st minute.

Sandip Limbu became the player of the match and received NRs 10,000 cash.

Mijen Lama received the Khalti exciting fan of the match.

NJJYC, Simara will play against Far West XI on Tuesday.

10 teams are taking part in the event, which has a winning purse of NRs 10 lakh.
