Khalti Digital Wallet and Payment Gateway has become the official ticketing partner of 4th Bagmati gold cup football tournament.

4th Bagmati gold cup is starting from Chaitra 13, 2077 at Pharparbari, Makwanpur. Bagmati rural municipality sports development committee is organizing the event.

Jonaam Bhurtel, Assistant manager - Business development at Khalti, signed an MoU with Bagmati rural municipality sports development committee President Bhim Rai at Phaparbari on Sunday.

"Football is arguably the number one game in Nepal and we are very proud to be associated with the organizers as an official ticketing partner. Now, fans can easily buy match tickets through Khalti. This will generate more awareness about digital literacy in local areas and help football fans to enjoy the matches hassle-free", said Bhurtel.

President Bhim Rai said, "We are glad that Khalti has come to our village. Fans can easily buy match tickets through the apps now. This will help us in many ways. The most important thing is we are going digital, from village".

Khalti will coordinate with the organizers for exclusive online ticketing. Fans can easily buy match tickets from Khalti digital wallet.

10 teams are taking part in the event, which has a winning purse of NRs 8 lakh.

Prize money:

The winners will get NRs 8 lakh while runners up team will be awarded with Nrs 4 lakh.
