Hardi yuwa samaj and Dudhauli sports club have won their respective matches in Hetauda gold cup football tournament.

Hardi yuwa samaj, Chitwan defeated Birgunj United 2-0 on Saturday to enter semifinals. Niraj Chaudhary (7') and Suresh Kumal (13') scored apiece for the winners. Suresh Kumal became the player of the match and received Nrs 5,000 cash.

In another match, Dudhauli sports club, Sindhuli defeated Birgunj youth academy 4-2 on penalties.

Both teams played 1-1 draw in regulation time before going to spot kick battle.

Dudhauli goalie Mahesh Adhikari became the player of the match and received Nrs 5,000 cash.

Two matches will be played on Sunday. FC Reale Bhaktapur will play against Centre College Bharatpur FC and Sarlahi DFA will play against hosts FC Bijaya Youth.

The championship has a winning purse of Nrs 3 lakh.
