India Lift The Title Of SAFF U-18 Women's Championship
Despite the defeat in the final match of the SAFF U-18 Women's Championship in Jamshedpur, India against Bangladesh on Friday, India have lifted the title of the tournament.'
Bangladesh defeated India 1-0 in the final match of the tournament. But India's goal difference of +13 compared to Bangladesh's +3 was enough for them to lift the title.
The player of the tournament and the highest goal scorer was Lynda Kom Serto who scored 5 goals in total.
The tournament was played in a round-robin format between India, Bangladesh and Nepal. Nepal finished the tournament on zero points with four losses.
