Nepalganj Sub-Metropolitan City Mayor Prashant Bista, Banke District Sports Development Committee Chairman Sandeep Jung Shah inaugurated the ANFA Community Coaching Course.

In the opening ceremony presided over by Bhojraj Shahi, president of the organizer Banke District Football Association, ANFA Acting Technical Director and former captain of the Nepali National Football Team Hari Khadka, ANFA Head of Coach Education Sanjit Singh and others were present.

ANFA Acting Technical Director and former captain of Nepali National Football Team Hari Khadka and ANFA Head of Coach Education Sanjit Singh will train the participants in the four-day ANFA Community Coaching Course.

Addressing the opening ceremony of the course, Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan Mayor Prashant Bista said that an environment should be created to protect and respect the players.

He said, "The state has invested crores of rupees in the construction of sports infrastructure. But there are complaints of not being able to use it. The state should invest to produce players. But we are exploiting. There is a situation where players have to play with sandals and not shoes. Understanding this, Nepalgunj is creating an environment that supports not only national but also local players.

Mayor Bista said that Nepalgunj sub-metropolitan city will soon build a sports development committee and move forward.

President of Banke District Football Association and ANFA member Bhojraj Shahi said that the lack of ground is affecting football activities. He said that the ANFA Community Coaching Course started in Nepalganj will play an important role in producing football players from the community level.

He says, "There is a need to inspire and attract new enthusiasm in the players. For the training coaches, there is an opportunity to fulfill this big responsibility. It is also a good opportunity. Not all players can become coaches. We have got skilled coaches like ex-captain Hari Khadka and Sanjit Singh. We are. This is a matter of pride. The coach should be able to make good use of it.'

Banke District Sports Development Committee Chairman Sandeep Jung Shah said that not being able to protect athletes in Nepal is becoming a big problem.

He says, 'After sports activities have increased up to the municipal level, it is causing corruption in sports. We must say this. District Sports has completed the selection of the President Running Shield for 6 to 7 lakhs. But municipalities spend more than 1.3 million. This is the amount allocated by the state to protect the players. It was not misused. '

President Shah said that he was very enthusiastic about the program organized by ANFA Banke and wished the success of the course.

ANFA started the ANFA Community Course 5 years ago. The 32nd batch is undergoing training in the course being held in Banke.
