With a thrilling win, Dudhauli Sports Club, Sindhuli became the last team to enter the semi-finals of the ongoing Chief Minister Kohalpur Gold Cup International Invitational Knockout Football Tournament here.
Towards the fourth quarter-final held on Sunday, Dudhauli defeated Avenir FC, Cameroon in a tiebreaker and managed to enter the last four. Before that, both the teams played a goalless draw in the scheduled match at the Saraswati Mavi Stadium.
In the tiebreaker, Dudhauli stunned Avnir 7-6 and managed to enter the semi-finals. Dudhauli's goalkeeper Lokesh Chaudhary was declared man of the match. Dudhauli will play against contender Tribhuvan Army Football Club in the second semi-final on Monday, 20th Kartik.
The winner of the competition organized by Racing Sahara Club, Kohalpur-2, Banke will get 8 lakhs in cash along with the title, while the runner-up will get 4 lakhs. The final match will be held on the 22nd of Kartik.
