Martyr' Shekhar Ale memorial gold cup got underway at Dhalkewar, Mahottari on Monday.
Mulabari FC defeated Birgunj FC, Sarlahi 4-1 in the opening match.
Dhalkebar FC will play against Sarlahi XI FC on Tuesday.
Ten teams are taking part in the event, which has a winning purse of NRs 1 lakh.
