
Nepal U19 striker, Birjesh Chaudhary said he was surprised not to see his name in Nepal U19 final squad.
Nepal U19 coach Meghraj KC announced the final squad today for AFC U19 championship qualifiers.
"I am surprised. I never thought that I would be out of the squad. I had worked very hard in training", said Chaudhary, ANFA academy product. He was adjudged the best forward in recently held Lalit Memorial U18 championship.
He added, "I don't know the reason why I am out of the team. Coach hasn't said anything to me. I haven't also asked him why I was out of squad. I will give my best in coming days to make my place in the team".
Nepal is pitted against UAE, Iran and Kyrgyz Republic in the qualifiers that start from November 6.
