GoalNepal colleague Bikram Baniya Chhetri has been honored with Makwanpur sports journalist of the year 2076.

Makwanpur DFA honored him with the award plus Nrs 17,500.

Makwanpur DFA member Manish Shrestha established the award in memory of his father.

Hetauda sub metro mayor Hari Bahadur Mahat, Makwanpur DFA president Tika Lama and Madan memorial trust president Manish Shrestha honored Chhetri with the award in Hetauda on Saturday.

Journalist Chhetri said he was motivated to receive the award.

Makwanpur DFA Tika Lama congratulated Chhetri for the award.
