Wai-Wai 1st Barahkshetra gold cup got underway on Sunday.

Belbari FC defeated Gaighat FC Udayapur 5-4 on penalties to enter last four.

Both teams played 0-0 draw in regulation time before inviting a spot kick battle. Bhusan Subba became the man of the match.

Hosts Cultural green club will play against BRC Bhutan on Monday.

The championship has a winning purse of Nrs 1,01,000 and runners up team will get Nrs 51,000.
