
Three Star Club, Lalitpur has entered the semi-finals of the ongoing 7th Bagmati Gold Cup Open Knockout Football Tournament with an easy and excellent win.
Three Star defeated Himalayan Sherpa Club, Kathmandu 4-0 in the quarter-finals held on Tuesday to enter the last four.
Naveen Lama, Fode Fofana, Suraj Thakuri and Alex Karim scored goals for Three Star in the match held at the Shahid Smriti Stadium. Nabin Lama of Three Star was declared the Man of the Match in the match.
The quarter-final match of the tournament will be held on Wednesday, Falgun 7, between Sankata Football Club, Kathmandu and APF Football Club, Kathmandu, the organizers informed.
The winner of the tournament, organized by Bagmati Rural Municipality Sports Development Committee, Jhurjhure, Makawanpur, will receive a cash prize of Rs 1 million along with the title, while the runner-up will receive Rs 0.5 million. The final match will be held on Falgun 12.
