Martyr's memorial club, Phaparbari, FC Internet and Madan Bhandari sports academy have won their respective matches in Dan Bahadur memorial Makwanpur district league football tournament.

Martyr's memorial club defeated Mahabir club Hetauda 3-0 in the first match played at Hupra Chaur, Hetauda on Monday. Baburam Majhi scored a brace and Krishna Rumba scored another for the winners. Majhi became the man of the match.

In the second match, Madan Bhandari sports academy defeated Hetauda veterans 6-1. Ramesh Lama scored a hat trick while Rajan Gole scored a brace. Sunil Bhlon contributed another goal to the winners. Krishna Joshi scored a consolation goal for veterans. Hat trick hero Lama became the man of the match.

Pragatishil yuwa club walked out from the match and FC Internet was awarded the win in the last match of the day.

Makwanpur DFA is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 1 lakh.
