B13 team has reached the finals of the 6th edition of the Sangam Cup Football Competition going on in Pokhara.

In the first semi final match played on Thursday, B13 defeated Garden Club in penalty shootout (2-1) to win the game.

The game was tied in 2-2 in the regular time and in the added time and was forced to penalty kick battle. Biswas Shrestha and Govin KC scored for B13 in regular time while, Diwas Udaya scored one for Garden FC and the other goal was an own goal scored by Ajay Gurung.

B13 managed to win the shootout by 2-1. Foreign player Aba and goalie Dilip Chettri scored for B13 while Binod Gurung was the only to score for Garden FC.

In the second semifinal between Sahara Club and LG Association, the match was forced to penalty shootout, but because of bad lights the match was postponed to early morning tomorrow. The game was nicely poised in 2-2 when it was forced into penalty shootout.

The final is scheduled to be played in the afternoon tomorrow once the semi final match gets concluded on early morning.
