News Kailali: Hosts Far West Pashupati FC Enters Finals In Far West Pashupati Cup

Hosts Far West Pashupati will play against PFA Attariya in the finals of the Galaxy Public School Far West Pashupati Football Competition.

In the second semifinal match played Thursday in Dhangadi, the hosts defeated New Buddha Youth Club 8-1. PFA Attariya won the first semifinals yesterday and made it to the finals. The final will be held in Dhangadi Stadium on Saturday.

In a lopsided affair, foreign player Segun scored double hat-trick. Segun scored in 17th, 63rd, 67th, 77th, 83rd and 87th minutes respectively to get his double hat-trick.

It was New Buddha who took the lead first in 14th minute through Laxman Shahi, but three minutes later, Segun equalized and Far West Pashupati took lead in 43rd minute through Roshan Khatri. Mahesh Chand scored in 44th minute to make it 3-1. The goals landslide occured in second half when Segun scored in regular intervals and took the hosts to finals.

Segun was named the man of the match.

The competition kicked off from 28th of Mangsir and will conclude on Saturday. The winning team will take three lakh cash along with trophy and certificates.
