Jhapa: Seven Horses Kakarvitta Veterans Championship Kicks Off

Seven Horses Kakarvitta veterans championship got underway on Saturday.

Birat veterans defeated Darjeeling town veterans 4-1 in the opening match.

Denim Rai scored the opener for Birat veterans in 13th minute of the match. Sudip Rai leveled the score for Darjeeling in 25th minute.

Denim Rai scoed again for Birat veterans in 52nd minute. Dipen Rai (58') and Sunil Kumar Subedi (68') scored apiece for the winners.

Sunil Subedi became the player of the match. Kakarvitta veterans will play against Milanmore Triveni Sangh, Darjeeling on Sunday.

10 teams from Nepal and India are taking part in the event, which has a winning purse of NRs 2 lakh.
