Freedom Fighter Thamel has lifted the title of late Dilip Rana memorial Chitwan veterans cup in Bharatpur, Chitwan.

Freedom Fighter defeated Thapa Gaun veterans 4-1 in the final match played on Thursday.

Kanya Subba Gurung scored a brace while Bijaya Gurung & Nar Kumar Rai scored apiece for the winners.

The champions received NRs 1,51,000 while runnera up team got NRs 75,500.

Raj Kumar Ghising from Thamel became the player of the tournament and received NRs 10,000 cash.
