
KATHMANDU, April 22 – Legendary Brazilian footballer Roberto Carlos has arrived in Nepal to witness the excitement of the Nepal Super League (NSL).
The former Real Madrid and Brazil national team star landed at Tribhuvan International Airport on Tuesday, where he was warmly welcomed by the NSL organizers.
Speaking to the media upon arrival, Carlos expressed his delight at being in Nepal. “I am very happy to be here,” he said, adding that he is looking forward to experiencing the energy and passion of Nepali football fans.
During his visit, Carlos will attend matches of the ongoing Nepal Super League and will also take part in a few informal programs organized in his honor.
His presence is expected to boost the growing popularity of football in Nepal and inspire young talents across the country.
