Indian FA Expresses Its Intention To Join Central Asian Football Association (CAFA)

All India Football Federation (AIFF) has officially expressed its intention to participate in CAFA competitions, Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) has confirmed.
The committee also agreed to include AIFF in CAFA competitions starting from 2022 with potential consideration of the participation of the AIFF youth national teams to be included in CAFA competitions this year as well.
It is not clear if AIFF would leave SAFF. Earlier Afghanistan left SAFF and joined CAFA.
There are Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan in CAFA.
