SAFF U15 Championship 2019: Sri Lanka Beats Bhutan
Sri Lanka U15 defeated Bhutan U15 3-2 on Wednesday in SAFF U15 champiuonship at Kalyani stadium, Kolkata, India.
Sri Lanka came from two goal down to beat Bhutan. Kinzang Tenzing scored the opener for Bhutan in 7th minute while Sonam Chozang doubled the lead in 47th minute.
Sri Lanka performed an excellent game in the second half. Thusmika Jayalate cut the deficit in 52nd minute and Fernando Neil leveled the score in 73rd minute. Muhammad Shakil scored the match winner in 90+2.
Bhutan will now play against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will play against Nepal on Friday.
Earlier Nepal suffered 5-0 loss at the hands of India.
