Mahottari: Sarlahi XI Enters QFs Of Martyr Shekhar Ale Memorial Gold Cup

Sarlahi XI has entered quarterfinals of Martyr Shekhar Ale memorial gold cup football tournament in Mahottari.

Sarlahi XI defeated hosts Mahottari XII B team 2-1 to enter last eight on Tuesday.

Sarlahi scored two late goals to win the match. Rabi Waiba (88') and Mausam Karki (89') scored apiece for the winners. Nisan Magar scored one for Mahottari in 70th minute. Hosts Mahottari will play against Bhiman United Sindhuli on Wednesday.

Samriddhi Samaj is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 1 lakh.
