Jawalakhel youth club has entered semifinals of 4th Rajarshi Janak cup football tournament.

JYC sidelined UKFC Darjeeling 2-0 in quarterfinal match played at Bagmati, Sarlahi on Thursday.

Rup Bahadur Lama (14') and Fofona (68') scored apiece for the winners.

Rup Bahadur Lama became the man of the match and received Nrs 10,000 cash plus football boots.

JYC will play against Kanchanjunga FC in second semifinal match on Saturday.

Nepal Police will play against Far West XI in first semifinal match tomorrow.

Bagmati youth club and Bagmati municipality are jointly organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 10 lakh.
