FIFA/AFC Congratulates Nepal League Champs Machhindra Club

FIFA and AFC have congratulated Nepal league champions Machhindra club for winning Martyr’s memorial A division league.



FIFA prez Gianni Infantino has sent a letter to ANFA president Karma Tsering Sherpa to congratulate the new league champions.



“On behalf of the international football community, I finally take you and your association for your contribution to the development and the prosperity of football in your country, in your region and around the world”, letter sent by FIFA reads.



Earlier on Tuesday, AFC sent its congratulatory message to ANFA.

Machhindra club won the league for the first time, beating Nepal Army 1-0 in the final day last week.
