Bardiya: Madhuban Municipality Wins Title Of 1st District Wide Football Championship

Madhuban municipality has lifted the title of 1st Bardiya district wide football championship.

Madhuban defeated Bansgadhi municipality 4-2 on penalties on Monday to lift the title.

Both teams played 3-3 draw in regulation time before inviting for a spot kick battle.

Laxman BK became the best goalkeeper, Sudip Gharti the best defender and Anjan Chaudhary the highest goal scorer of the tournament. Prakash BC was adjudged the most valuable player of the tournament.

The champions received Nrs 1 lakh.
