Makwanpur: National Level Majhi Gold Cup Kicks Off

National level Majhi gold cup got underway at Bakaiya, Makwanpur on Friday.

Makwanpur A defeated Bara 3-0 in the opening match. Anil Majhi, Arun Majhi and Samesh Majhi scored apiece for the winners.

Majhi communities from 17 districts are taking part in the event.

The championship has a winning purse of Nrs 1 lakh and runners up team will get Nrs 50,000.

Earlier Province 3 CM Dormani Paudel inaugurated the championship.
