Buddha Air Belbari Gold Cup: Madan Bhandari Sports Academy Enters SFs

A makeshift team of Madan Bhandari sports academy has entered semifinals of Buddha Air Belbari gold cup football tournament at Laxmimarga, Belbari, Morang.

Madan Bhandari sports academy defeated Gorkha Boys Rupandehi 3-2 in a tightly played match on Monday.

Tapan Karki (24'), Prakash Budhathoki (75') and Bhusan Subba (77') scored apiece for the winners.

Deepak Rai scored both goals (18', 80') but couldn't help Gorkha Boys to win the match.

Tapan Karki became the man of the match and received Nrs 5,000 cash.

Dangihat FC is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 5 lakh.
