Morang: Provincial Level Women's Championship Kicks Off

Provincial level inter district women's championship got underway at Dangihat, Morang on Thursday.

Dhankuta defeated Panchthar 3-0 in the opening match.

Sunita Tamang, Sandhya Ramtel and Bipana Rai scored apiece for the winners.

In another match, Taplejung defeated Khotang 7-0. Anush Sherpa scored a hat trick while Indra Gurung, Sushma Khati, Dipa Limbu and Pabitra Limbu scored apiece for the winners.

14 districts from province 1 are taking part in the event, which has a winning purse of Nrs 1,50,000. Runners up team will get Nrs 75,000.
