Darjeeling United has entered semifinals of 3rd Panchthar gold cup football tournament.

Darjeeling United sidelined defending champions Birtamod United 3-2 on Tuesday in a nail bitting affair in Phidim.

Karan Rai scored a brace for Darjeeling. Another goal was scored in an own post by Dilen Loktam. Dilen Loktam and Bishal Rai A scored apiece for Birtamod.

Rai became the man of the match and received Nrs 5,000 cash.

Bijaya youth club, Hetauda will play against Jawalakhel youth club, Lalitpur on Wednesday.

Panchthar club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 4 lakh.
