Congress leader from Makwanpur and main opponent leader in Province 3, Indra Bahadur Baniya has kept his words.

Baniya had announced Nrs 5,000 each if Makwanpur would enter final before semifinal match of Bhugarva cement martyr's memorial Makwanpur gold cup. Makwanpur had defeated Nepal Police to enter final.

On Friday, Baniya distributed award to the players.

He also announced Nrs 1 lakh to the team if they win today's final match.

Makwanpur district sports development committee president Madhav Timalsina, member secretary Rajan Dahal Khusraj and other guests were present in the program.

Makwanpur is playing against Dauphins in the final match today. The champions will get Nrs 8 lakh.
