
Junior football academy (JFA) held football workshop at Baluwatar, Kathmandu on Saturday.
100 kids took part in the workshop, according to the release sent by JFA.
The workshop covered the subject of training, rules and regulation of the game, importance of physiotheraphy, strategy, theoritical and practical classes.
Founder, Prajwol Pratap Chhetri, AFC A licensed coach Rabindra Silakar, Gorakh KC, Puspa Bista, Kiran Khanal, referee Sabin Dhakal and physio Aviskar Pudasaini conducted the workshop. The academy also honored Nepal international Bharat Khawas in the closing ceremony.
The academy - which is established in 2010 - is focusing on youth football training program.
It also sends teams to foreign countries for international match exposure. So far they have sent the teams to Netherlands, Norway, USA, Thailand, China and India.
