
Nepal women's team defeated Bangladesh women's team 3-0 on Saturday to enter semifinals of SAFF women's championship as group winners.
Sabitra Bhandari and Manjali Yonjan scored apiece for Nepal while another goal was scored in an own post.
Masura Pravin scored in an own post in 6th minute of the match. Nepal missed two goal scoring chances before the opening goal. Sabitra Bhandari and Niru Thapa wasted one vs one. Sabitra doubled the lead in 23rd minute while Manjali extended the lead in 28th minute.
Nepal couldn't score more goals in the second half as Bangladesh improved their game.
Despite the loss, Bangladesh still went through semifinals as group runners up.
India will take on Sri Lanka on Sunday to determine the group winner.
Nepal will now take on runners up team of Group B in semifinals on March 20.
