Anita Basnet: First International Goal Dedicated To My Nation

Nepal women's international Anita Basnet scored her first international goal on Wednesday at Kalinga stadium, Bhubaneshowr, India.

Nepal defeated higher ranked Iran 3-0 to make into the finals of Hero Women's cup on Wednesday.

Basnet said she was delighted to score first international goal.

"I am very happy. I would like to dedicate this goal my country, fans, team mates, coaches, officials and my family. I hope I can score more goals for my country", said Basnet.

Nepal will play final match against Myanmar tomorrow.
