Nepal national team's friendly match against chinese giant Guangzhou R&F has been cancelled.
The match was supposed to be played at ANFA complex, Satdobato, Lalitpur in the month of January.
ANFA's spokesperson Kiran Rai confirmed GoalNepal that the match was cancelled.
"The main problem was playing field. We don't have stadium with natural field. We requested them to play at ANFA complex but they didn't want to play in artificial turf", said Rai.
In November, Yang Qi, Head of Competition Department, Huang Jun, team Manager and Liang Yajing, Integrated Operation Department of the club had visited ANFA Complex and had held a meeting with the ANFA Officials chaired by ANFA President Karma Tsering Sherpa to discuss about the preparation for the friendly match.
