Australia: Yeti FC Wins Title Of GNVC League
Melbourne based Yeti FC has won the title of GNVC league football tournament.
Yeti FC defeated United FC 6-1 in the final match played on Sunday in Melbourne.
Former Nepal U19 & U23 midfielder Anil Ojha scored five goals alone while Suman Joshi scored another for the winners. Nepal international Jagjeet Shrestha had played for the winners. He assisted for four goals.
Suraj Shrestha scored a consolation goal for United.
Pankaj Lamichane was adjudged the most valuable player while Suraj Shrestha was declared the highest goal scorer.
The tournament was organized by Gorkhas Nepalese community, Victoria.
