Bishal Cement Nuwakot Gold Cup: Nuwakot Thrashes Friends To Enter SFs

Hosts Nuwakot has entered semifinals of Bishal cement Nuwakot gold cup football tournament.

Nuwakot thrashed Friends club 5-0 to enter semifinals on Saturday.

Amir Shrestha scored a brace (59’, 69’) while Raj Kumar Kumal (33’), Victor Amobi (48’) and Bikesh Lama (69’) scored apiece for the winners.

Nuwakot skipper Jangbu Sherpa became the man of the match and he received Rs 10,000 cash.

Pokhara will play against Nepal APF on Sunday.

Nuwakot DFA and Nuwakot district sports development committee are organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 5 lakh.
