Hosts Sunshine ladies FC has won the title of 1st Sunshine women's football championship in Mechinagar, Jhapa.

Sunshine defeated Parijat women's FC 1-0 in the final match played on Saturday.

Muna Lawati scored the match winner through spot in 59th minute.

Sarita Sherpa from the winning side became the queen of the match. She received Rs 1,000 cash and one cartoon oil.

Roma Bhujel from the winning side became the best player of the tournament. She received Rs 5500 cash.

Muna Lawati got the best rising player. She received Rs 2100 cash.
