Nepal has been drawn in Group F alongside Laos, Sri Lanka, and host nation Uzbekistan for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026™ Qualifiers. All of Nepal’s group matches will be held at the Bunyodkor Stadium in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Nepal will kick off their campaign against Laos on June 27 at 6:15 PM NST, followed by a clash with Sri Lanka on July 2. The final and most crucial group match will be against the strong host team Uzbekistan on July 5 at 9:15 PM NST.
With only the group winner earning a place in the final tournament, Nepal must make a strong start. Positive results against lower-ranked Laos and Sri Lanka could give the team a significant morale boost before facing the group favorites, Uzbekistan.
The AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026 will be held in Australia from March 1 to 26, 2026. The host nation Australia and the top three teams from the 2022 edition in India – China PR (champions), Korea Republic (runners-up), and Japan (third place) – have already secured their spots. The qualifiers will determine the remaining eight places, with only the top team from each group advancing to the final stage.
