The highly anticipated 7th edition of the Women’s SAFF Championship, South Asia's premier women’s football tournament, is set to begin this Thursday, October 1, at the Dasharath Stadium.

The Nepali women's team, a formidable contender in this championship, aims to secure their first title on home soil after finishing as runners-up in five of the previous six editions.

In a bid to bolster the team’s morale, local organizers are urging fans to come out in full force and act as the “12th player” for the Nepali side.

Mount Everest Sport and Event Pvt., known for its commitment to promoting football in Nepal, has partnered with the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) to enhance the spectator experience.

To facilitate attendance, they have introduced a digital ticket purchasing option through the Khalti app, making it easier for fans to buy tickets and support their team.

An agreement between Mount Everest Sport and Event and Khalti has established ticket sales both online and at physical counters within the stadium premises.

"We are proud to collaborate with Khalti, a respected name in the digital wallet sector, to promote Nepali football," said Thaman Bhushal, CEO of Mount Everest Sport and Event.

"This initiative aims to encourage more spectators to fill the stadium and support our talented players." The championship will see participation from seven countries across South Asia, promising thrilling matches and a celebration of women’s sports.

With the Nepali team’s passionate fanbase rallying behind them, the stage is set for an exhilarating tournament.
