Hanami BFC, Chitwan has made a winning start in the district's much-awaited Nawalparasi Gold Cup organized by Rising Star Community Development Foundation, Sunwal-12, Nawalparasi.

In the opening match at the Shahid Smriti Stadium, BFC got off to a winning start by defeating Nawalparasi-11 2-1. Samiraj Thokar scored the first goal in the 28th minute of the match and Sushil Rai scored the second goal in the 41st minute. That goal became the decisive goal of the game.

While trying to clear the ball in the 53rd minute of the second half, BFC's Bijju Thakuri scored a suicide goal. However, Nawalparasi's attempt to return to the next match was not successful.

BFC's Sushil Rai was declared man of the match in the match. With this win, BFC has also entered the semi-finals. Under the competition, the second quarter-final match on Friday 18th Jestha will be held between Rising Star FC, Bhumi and Palpa-11, Palpa, according to Sandeep KC, the match coordinator.

According to Dharmendra Agrahari, the general secretary of the foundation, the winner of the competition, which will run until Jestha 24, will receive 511,000 in cash, while the runner-up will receive 311,000.
