Pharsatikar Youth Club has made a winning start in the second Evolution Cup Open Knockout Football Tournament organized by Evolution Club of Butwal which started on Saturday.

After the scheduled time ended in a goalless draw at Charpala Stadium in Butwal-12, Tamnagar, Farsatikar started victorious by winning 5-4 over Devinagar Yuva Club, Devinagar in the tiebreaker. Devinagar's Abhishek Dhimal was declared Man of the Match.

With this win, Pharsatikar has also entered the quarterfinals. Amar Thapa Magar informed that the pre-quarterfinal match on Sunday 30th of Baisakh will be held between Evolution Club of Butwal and Chandni Football Club under the competition.

Before that, the chief guest of the event was inaugurated by Mayor of Butwal Sub-Metropolis Khelraj Pandey, Chairman of Evolution Club of Butwal Ram Bahadur Pun and others.

Chairman of the organizing club Ram Bahadur Pun said that the winner of the competition, which will run until Jestha 10, will receive a title and a cash prize.
