NRT has entered final of 24th Budhasubba Gold Cup International Invitational Knockout Football Tournament.

In the second semi-final on Thursday, NRT defeated Kakarvitta Football Training Center in a tiebreaker and came close to the title.

Before that, both teams played a 1-1 draw in the regular time match at Dharan Stadium. Fode Fofna scored for Kakarvitta towards the scheduled time and Saroj Tamang scored for NRT. In the tiebreaker, NRT won 5-4 over Kakarvitta and secured the final spot.

Saroj Tamang of NRT was declared the man of the match. He received 10,000 cash as a reward. NRT will now compete for the Morang District Football Association title in the final on Saturday.

The winner of the tournament organized by Dharan Football Club, Dharan, Sunsari will receive 10 lakhs in cash along with the title, while the runner-up will receive 5 lakhs.NNN
