Panchthar Club is organizing Panchthar Gold Cup From Falgun 12, 2080.

The organizers gave the information through a press conference in Phidim on Wednesday. After almost four years, this competition is going to be held again. This competition, which was last held in 2076, was stopped due to various reasons. The competition will be held at Phidim Ma Vi's playground.

The organizers have said that this time the competition will be held from 12th to 19th of Falgun. It is said that one international team will also be included in the competition in which 8 teams will participate. One team will be organized by the organizer.

Yograj Sedhai, secretary of the organizing club, informed that it will take some time to finalize the teams participating in the competition. According to him, efforts are being made to involve the A Division League teams and NSL teams including Jhapa and Morang from Mafusal.

The winner of the competition will receive a prize of Rs 5 lakh 5 thousand, the second runner-up will get a prize of Rs 2 lakh 22 thousand. According to the organizers, the best player, most goal scorer, best goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and emerging player will be awarded.

The organizers informed that the players, officials and the spectators participating in the competition have been insured.

The organizer said that since there is no organized playground and the spectators have to watch the game from the temporary bamboo parapet, the spectators will also be insured.
