
Regal Resort ANFA Makwanpur has won the title of Sudarshan Ghimire Memorial U-21 Hetouda Challenge Cup Knockout Football Tournament.
In the final, Anfa Makwanpur became the winner by defeating Real Star Club by 4-0.
Anish Maharjan scored two goals for ANFA Makwanpur in the final match at Pipley Campa Stadium, while Mohit Gurung and Sujal Shrestha scored one goal each.
Anfa Makwanpur, who became the winner, received a cash prize of Rs 1,11,111 along with the title, while the runner-up Real Star was forced to settle for a trophy, medal and certificate with Rs 55,555.
Anish Maharjan of ANFA Makwanpur was chosen as the Man of the Match for the final match. He received cash 2500 and a trophy as an award. Krishal Moktan of ANFA Makwanpur was selected as the best goalkeeper in other individual categories.
Urgen Rumba of Real Star was chosen as the best defender and Ritesh Shrestha of Anfa Makwanpur was chosen as the best midfielder. Similarly, the best forward was Pritam Syangbo of ANFA Makwanpur and the best coach was Vijayalal Shrestha of ANFA Makwanpur. All the best winners received 5,000 each and a trophy.
Similarly, Mohit Gurung of ANFA Makwanpur was declared the best player of the tournament. For that, he received 10,000 cash and a trophy.
A total of 14 teams participated in the tournament which started from 5th of November under the organization of FC Mundial, Hetauda, Makwanpur.
