SAFF Championship 2023: Maldives Earn Hard Fought Victory Against Bhutan

Maldives has started SAFF championship 2023 campaign with a hard fought 2-0 win over Bhutan in Bangalore.

Hamza Mohamed scored the opener through spot kick early in 6th minute and Niaz Hassan scored the double in 90th minute. 

Bhutan played better game and created many goal scoring chances but they simply couldn't utilize the chances.

They were unlucky too in the wee hours as they hit the side pole in 89th minute.
