News AFC U16 Asian Cup Kicks Off

AFC U16 Asian cup got underway in Thailand.

Three former winners, South Korea, Iran and Saudi Arabia have won their respective matches in match day 1.

South Korea hammered Qatar 6-1 while Iran defeated Afghanistan 6-1.

In other matches, Saudi Arabia defeated Australia 2-0, Yemen defeated Malaysia 4-0, Thailand blanked Laos 2-1 and Tajikistan, China played 1-1 draw.

16 Asian teams are competing in the event. Japan are the defending champions.
